To the Captains of the Teams and Triples of the Grantham and District Pool League
Please note that after a full investigation and a successful appeal the following players from the Hunters Bar Sharks have been reinstated,
Neil Rouse, Martin Sanderson and Paul Trunkfield
Please be aware that they have been cleared of taking part in knowingly submitting a false score card, and have therefore had their ban overturned. As captain it is your responsibility to ensure that your team refrain from any accusations or abuse towards these players as without their help this matter would never have reached a truthful conclusion.
We have also had some changes to captaincies. Can you please amend your fixture sheets accordingly:

Following the EGM on 02-06-2008 there has been an amendment to the constitution as bellow
- All knock-out finals and additional matches are to be played at the Grantham Billiard Club
- Claimed Matches.
All claimed matches will be remain as the equivalent to a minimum win, the match will be classed as a win and you will also receive your (minimum win) frame points.
For the “Mad Hatters” Score cards must be filled in and signed by the players that have turned up to play on the night up to a maximum of the amount of games claimed for. You only need to sign once.
I.e. for a claimed team match game of ten frames, six players must sign the card. For eight frames, five players must sign and for triples three must sign.
